Description
The program is for the light opera, Robin Hood, presented by The de Koven Opera Company. Contains the names of the cast and a synopsis of each act. The person who originally owned the program wrote the date that he or she attended, which was Oct. 5, 1912.The best part is the old advertisements. A palm reader, places that can clean a lady's ostrich feathers, shoes, furs, services. A peek into a long-ago time. It's delightful. Ladies had to remove their hats during the performance, or they risked removal, but would get a refund for their ticket. Does show its age for sure but it is amazing that it survived at all. 7 3/4" x 5 1/4".
