    1952 SAALFIELD ORIGINAL BOXED SET "LOVELY DOLLS WITH REAL CLOTH DRESSES" 3 PAPER DOLL SET #6028
    This is JUST ONE OF MANY BOXED SETS OF PAPER DOLLS FOUND IN MY late sister's collections.
    This is SAALFIELD'S "LOVELY DOLLS WITH REAL CLOTH DRESSES " that was published in 1952.   There are 3 paper dolls in the set that are all 11 inches tall.  The dolls do have their original cardboard stands and even a Ribbon to tie in their hair.  The wardrobe for the dolls is all cloth dresses including additional Collars, Vests, and Jerkins.  The set comes complete with a cardboard Clothes Tree and 4 Plastic Hangers so the dresses can be hung up when not being worn.  The dresses simply slip on over the head of each doll, then can be tied at the waist or left free flowing.   The original box lid does have some slight wear, and does have two split corners on the lid.    Two of the dolls in the set do have a slight crease line at their ankle area.
