    1954 SAALFIELD PUBLISHING "RHONDA FLEMING PAPER DOLLS" WITH MAGIC STAY-ON CLOTHES
    I am still working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!  Since I am not a collector I do have to apologize for my lack of knowledge on this subject.  If I have grossly misstated anything in the description it is fine if you want to correct me.  I am now working on a 'new' bundle of paper dolls and other items that I just took into my possession, have fun exploring them right along with me!!
    Meet RHONDA FLEMING a truly beautiful lady and movie star.  She was in numerous movies with stars such as Ronald Reagan, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Gregory Peck and so many more.  This paper doll set was made by SAALFIELD PUBLISHING in 1954 after starring in "THE REDHEADS FROM SEATTLE" a Western Musical playing opposite Gene Barry.  This is set number 5191 and features 2 paper dolls of Rhonda Fleming in 2 different poses.  The clothing for this set is cut out.  The clothes were to be 'magic stay-on' clothing that required the 'scribble glue' to attach the costumes.  After looking closely at the paper dolls I see that the residue from this 'scribble glue' is on each of the paper dolls.  I am unsure if a product is out there that may easily remove this residue without harming the paper doll, it may be worth a try.  The paper dolls are each 11 inch tall paper dolls.  Each doll still has an original cardboard stand in the box too.  I was sorry to see that less than a month ago that Ms. Fleming has passed away and I offer my condolences to the family of this beautiful lady.
