    Description

    Hi!  This is my 1957 ANNIE OAKLEY COLORING BOOK Auction.  There was an Annie Oakley TV Series in the 1950s and the actress who played Annie Oakley was Gail Davis, and it is Gail Davis on the covers of this Annie Oakley Coloring Book.
    1957 ANNIE OAKLEY COLORING BOOK is in good condition for its age - 64 years old (Pics.1 thru 12 - both covers inside and out and pages from different angles).  Book measures approximately 14x11 & 1/2 (closed).
    NOTE:  The Coloring Book itself has UNGLUED from the Covers (Pic.6) in other words, the glue dried up but the Coloring Book itself with all its 59 pages (that is what I counted once through) IS INTACT.  Seven Pages are colored, Two Pages are semi-colored - one just has a moustache on the school teacher (Pic.11).  A sample of one of the colored pages (Pic.12).
    Front Cover:  Overall shopworn (Pics.1,2,3) especially on corners - the right lower corner has a couple of creases as well (Pic.3); on the top left hand corner the round price tag is popped out (Pics.1,2) - I wonder if this is a manufacturer error - I don't remember the price printed on covers perforated but I could be wrong; on the lower right side it says "Annie Oakley Enterprises" and to the right of that is the Whitman logo (Pic.3).  Inside Front Cover:  That mysterious hole on the top right and a black dot in the middle (Pics.4,5) - across is the Title Page which has yellowed/darkened with age as well as ALL the pages of the coloring book (Pics.4,6,10 thru 12 for a few samples) - I think one page got a tiny rip as I gently turned the pages for the count, thats how fragile and delicate a condition they are in.
    Back Cover:  Identical to the Front Cover (Pics.7,8,9) - overall shopworn especially on corners - the left and right lower corners have a crease as well (Pic.9). Inside Back Cover:  as shown overall shopworn with age (Pic.10).
