This book is based on the Betsy McCall paper dolls that came out every month in McCall’s Magazine starting in 1951.
Also, many Betsy McCall dolls were later made by various companies.

here are 4 unpunched Betsy paper dolls plus Lambie-Loo (lamb) & Nosey (Betsy’s Dachshund).

The book’s size is approximately 10 X 13 inches.
The front cover has nice artwork of Betsy looking at herself in a mirror.
The cover has a window so that the mirror image is really the Betsy paper doll that is on the second page.

As an adult collector, my paper dolls have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house.

CONDITION:
This book has some condition issues that appear to be due to Saalfield publishing errors:
•
There are 2 pages that are stuck together - the stickers page and a Mix-Match Play Pattern.
•
The last page of clothes has what looks like a partial page of stickers that are on top of 2 outfits.
I have 3 of these books that are the same….very odd.
(Priced accordingly)
But the good news is that the paper dolls, the rest of the clothes pages, and the front/back covers are in overall
MINT
condition.
