    1966 SAALFIELD ORIGINAL BOXED SET "ELIZABETH THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE" PAPER DOLL SET #6054
    This is JUST ONE OF MANY BOXED SETS OF PAPER DOLLS FOUND IN MY late sister's collections.
    This is SAALFIELD'S "ELIZABETH THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE" that was published in 1966.   ELIZABETH is a 10 1/2 inch tall paper doll that does still have her original plastic stand.  She does have some repair done on one are and at her knees as well.  All of the clothing for the doll is cut out and she has a large wardrobe that includes a beautiful Bridal Gown.   The original box for the set has not faired well through the years as it is faded and also some staining on the lid as well.  It also has 2 split corners.  The base of the box too has 1 split corner and on the bottom someone has tried to glue both of the side flaps back onto the base.
