  • Condition: Very good. This is a soft cover book which means the two dolls are not die-cut. Eight inch long thin scuff mark near spine on front cover. Four inch long thin scratch mark between spine and doll on front cover. Doll is not affected. Six pages of great 1940’s fashions. Book has only one staple and always had just one staple, indicative of printer proof or first run. Everything is shown. Book measures 12.5”x10.75”.

    Original and vintage, authorized edition of Betty Field. Not a reproduction. According to the Internet, Betty preferred Broadway to Hollywood but did appear in several well known movies such as ‘The Great Gatsby’, ‘Bus Stop’, ‘Picnic’, ‘Peyton Place’ and ‘Butterfield 8’.
