    Description

    This is a G. Wostenholm & Son IXL Bowie Knife. It is number 7 of 100. It has a 9.5" blade, wood handle, and sheath.
    There were 100 of the horse head bowie's made. They were produced by IXL's in 1971 using old and new parts,
    using the original etching plates. The steel is tool grade, to the best of my knowledge.  It's hard to find data on these batches.
    This one is in very good shape. I have 7 of the 100, this is the first one I am listing.
