    Description

    The 2009 Paper Doll Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada and the theme was "Vegas Visions".  As the farewell gift, various artists pitched in and created 21 costumes for the Vegas Showgirl doll that Tom Tierney contributed to this HUGE set.  The calendar is for 2009 and 2010, they were all hand assembled and it measures 17" x 11". The doll slides into a slot so that costume changes are easy. MANY great artists such as Sandra Vanderpool, Marilyn Henry, Sylvia Kleindinst, Darlene Jones, David Wolfe plus many more, did the costumes on good quality paper for this.  There is writing on the flap of the original envelope indicating artists and the number of costumes they did. Also, there are some creases on the calendar corners from improper storage/shipping. This set is super rare because so many collectors cut and used it as a calendar.  This is the original from the convention and I do not make copies of the items that I purchase.  This is just one, amazing set of paper dolls!!!
    I've bought my huge collection from estate sales and from other collectors on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area in my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age, and I don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
