    SAALFIELD ORIGINAL BOXED SET #6068 "
    PAPER DOLLS WITH LACE-ON COSTUMES" 3 PAPER DOLLS
    This is JUST ONE OF MANY BOXED SETS OF PAPER DOLLS FOUND IN MY late sister's collections.
    This is SAALFIELD'S "PAPER DOLLS WITH LACE ON COSTUMES" BOXED set.  The three dolls are named: JANICE, NANCY, AND SUE.  The dolls are all 9 1/2 inches tall.  The clothing or costumes for the dolls are all lace-on with the provided colorful rayon laces.  Each doll does have her own cardboard stand too.  The clothing in this set can easily be punched out rather than having to cut them out.  In fact, some of the clothing has already come loose in the set.  I see there is one missing hat in the set, what I will do is make a photo copy of another set that I found that is almost identical to this one, so at least there will be a photo of the missing hat.  There is no date on the box but believe the set to be from the the 1950's or 60's.  This is set number 6068 and is in the original box.  The box lid does have some wear, especially at the corners of the lid.  There is one split corner on the lid.
