Shatter Termite Bait is to be used in the Hexpro monitoring stations (not included)
The active ingredient in Shatter Termite Bait for Hexpro is hexaflumuron, an insect growth regulator (chitin synthesis inhibitors) that stops the termites' vital molting process so they are unable to grow.

Shatter Termite Bait is a bait designed for usage in the HexPro Termite Baiting System and contains the IGR (insect growth regulator) hexaflumuron.
Shatter should be deployed in one of theHexPro stations after evidence of termite activity has been discovered.
Once deployed, the bait cartridges must remain in the station as long as the termites continue to be active and feed from that station. After all termite activity has ceased you can replace the Shatter bait with a monitoring device.
DO NOT reuse Shatter bait stations as the termites who feed on the bait secrete a colony specific pheromone which may deter other termites from feeding on that station.
Target sites for this system can include buildings, fences, utility poles, decking, landscape plantings and trees or other features that could be damaged by termite feeding and foraging activity. Shatter can be used on the inside or outside of foundation walls of crawl space areas or through concrete and asphalt if adequate soil is not accessible and such action is warranted.
Shatter may be used in lieu of a pre-construction termiticide (chemical barrier) treatment as a means of preventing termite infestation of new structures. In Florida, when Shatter is used for protection of new structures in lieu of a preconstruction termiticide treatment, follow requirements for monitoring during the first year as specified in the Florida supplemental labeling for Shatter use at new structures.
