Stunning Theatre Program is dated 1902-03 in "Walnut Street Theatre". The cover has a Lovely Woman pictured with beautiful red poppies in her hair. Two children are holding a sheet of music. It says the theatre was built in 1808. The theatre is featuring "The Old Homestead". Lots of ads.
"The Walnut Street Theatre, founded in 1809 at 825 Walnut Street, on the corner of S. 9th Street in the Washington Square West neighborhood of Philadelphia, is the oldest continuously-operating theatre in the English-speaking world and the oldest theatre in the United States."
Measures: 7" W x 9" H.
Condition: Corners and edges are slightly worn. Great condition for being 119 years old.
