    Here is a vintage Boot Knife measuring 8.75" with a 4.5" blade.  Shows age patina, wear, use, scratches.  Everything is tight with no looseness, nice dark wood handles with a brass pommel that extends into the handle, gives it that heavy feel, nicely balanced though.
