    Description

Here is a very old Mexican knife with the original leather sheath hand made and signed dating from the 1950’s. On the right side of the blade in relief are the words “Hecho en Oaxaca Mexico” signed J.T.C.. There is a desert scene on the blade with cactus and the Sierra Madre mountains. On the left side of the blade are the words, “Soy Chiquito pero milaguoso” in Spanish meaning “I am small but Miraculous”
The blade is 4 1/8” long and bright and shiny. The total knife is 7 1/4” long. The guard is bronze and tight to the handle. The handle is a plastic material. There is closed crack in the handle that is smooth and tight, sealed and bonded with cyanoacrylate. The bronze pommel is tight to the handle. The original leather sheath is in very good condition, pliable with a protective poly liner to isolate the carbon steel blade. A very well preserved old knife. Thank you for looking and please see the pictures. I usually ship the next USPS business day after payment.
