VTG PAPER DOLLS ORIGINAL BOOK 1947 ROMANCE by HELEN PAGE LOWE #1047 UNCUT!!!

Description

Helen Page's artwork was just stunning with her use of pastels and watercolors for the initial designs of the paper doll sets that she created over her lifetime.  This "Romance" book was published by Lowe in 1947 and the stock number is #1047.  There are 8 dolls that punch out from the cardstock covers. There is some spotting on the insides of the covers shown in the last photo.  This has 8 uncut pages of costumes, one page for each doll.  The paper has some age tanning and that's shown in the next to the last photo. The colors remain very vivid after 74 years and my photos don't do this justice. Helen Page artwork is highly collectible and always gorgeous!!!
I've bought my huge collection from estate sales and from other collectors on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area in my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age, and I don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
I only ship to the USA.  I usually take orders to the post office on Tuesday and Friday mornings by 10AM eastern time.
