VTG RARE 1942 JOAN'S WEDDING PAPER DOLL BOOK WHITMAN PUBLISHING #990 RARE AUTH

RARE Vintage AUTHENTIC 1942 Joan's Wedding Paper Doll Book by Whitman Publishing #990. This beautiful paper doll book originally contained 9 wedding party members plus the Minister. However, this particular cut & punched book is missing the Flower Girl Dottie and the Maid of Honor Lois. There are 2 Minister Dolls; 2 Bill Dolls & 2 Ted Dolls. One of each of these has not been punched out. The Mother Doll has damage which includes a missing arm and feet. She is still unpunched from the book.
The covers and paper dolls were designed by Florence Sarah Winship. The water damage shown in photo #3 is just on the back of cover and does not go through to the book.
All of the fashions are still present except for one flower girl dress and the pink wedding dress. The pink wedding dress is included with several duplicates of Joan's clothing which all were cut out of another book. The flower girl dress is the only piece of clothing that is actually missing. All of the uncut clothing still have bright colors. Peter's tuxedo has two tears and one of Lois's dresses has a tear. Otherwise, all of the other uncut clothing is in very good condition.
This listing also includes the 7 loose Dolls plus 23 Pieces of Clothing which were cut out from another 1942 Joan's Wedding Paper Doll Book. These are the AUTHENTIC 1942 dolls & clothing and NOT a reproduction. The bride is Joan Dale and the bridesmaid is Betty. Collectible Paperdolls and clothing are ideal for framing, crafts, scrapbooks, gift tags, wedding albums and much more. The Glamorous pieces of clothing were designed by Ruth M. Ruhman.
Paper Dolls clothing has been very neatly cut out. Colors are still nice and bright with some minor creasing! Condition is very good for their vintage age! The clothing has the doll's name on the tab. Some of the men's clothes have all of the tabs cut off. The dolls have some light bending and wear consistent with vintage age of nearly 80 years.
